Welcome to a space inspired by a rich and unshakable legacy.
If you know anything about Southern, down-home Black families especially the strength of Black women then you understand the power of influence that lives in our homes.
The lessons weren’t always written in books. They were lived. They were modeled. They were passed down at kitchen tables, on front porches, and through sacrifice.
I was raised by that kind of strength.
Raised by a Southern Black family that stood brave through the complexities and contradictions of the Black experience in America. Through hardship. Through faith. Through perseverance. Through love.
If you share that story or even if you’re still discovering it I welcome you to St. Lucy May.
Here, we pick our own seats at the table.
Not just based on tradition but on lived experience.
This is a space rooted in love, protection, responsibility, discipline, growth, and faith in God. It’s about what it truly means to rear a family, to evolve as leaders, and to build something that lasts beyond us.
St. Lucy May is not only about my grandmother.
It is about what she represented.
Love.
Respect.
Certitude.
Responsibility.
Growth.
And unwavering devotion to God.
This page honors the legacy I come from, the legacy I embody, and the legacy we are committed to building for the next generation.
Because legacy isn’t just remembered.
It’s lived.
